Commission FAQS

This is typical for what you can expect when you start a project with me!

After filling out the form and having general colors, functionality type, and budget confirmed- your project will only start once a non-refundable deposit is paid. Deposits are maybe 1/3-1/2 of the total agreed upon price to secure your time slot. 

We may be exchanging pictures of color preferences for our first little bit of the designing phase. Once we settle on colors, the construction process begins! This may take a little while, so I’ll give you an estimate on when I should be done.

Once construction is complete and the piece has had its final annealing, it’ll be ready for shipping/pick up! Final payment is to be received in full before your item(s) will be shipped, picked up, or dropped off. Every order will have a tracking number if shipped. 

I will be in touch with you throughout the entire process, except for the construction. Glass is temperamental, especially in the winter months. It can also crack in or out of the kiln- so barring something out of my control, your project will be on track for the estimated time given.

I may have to start a project from the beginning due to cracking. These issues will not add to the final cost of your project, only the time it takes to make another one.
